President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has sent a letter to Emperor Akihito of Japan.
In his message, the head of our state noted that the era of Emperor Akihito's rule is renowned throughout the world as the period of outstanding achievements, namely, a robust peace and comprehensive development in Japan, its joining the ranks of leading economic powers, considerable growth in its standing and role in global processes.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed sincere gratitude to the Emperor of Japan for his personal attention and support for multidimensional Uzbek-Japanese mutually advantageous cooperation on the basis of bonds of friendship, mutual respect and trust.
