Modern medical institutions are being opened at places in accordance with the resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on development of the private sector in healthcare. One of them is ANAMED private diagnostic center in Namangan.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited this center during a trip to Namangan region.

This center specializing in neurosurgery, neurology, cardiology and urology is equipped with advanced diagnostic equipment of General Electric, Siemens and other companies. Qualified staff is formed. In this issue, cooperation has been established with leading diagnostic centers of the United Kingdom, Japan and Russia. A group of physicians improved their skills in these countries. Experienced professionals are invited from India and Russia.

More than 30 people work here. More than 50 jobs will be created this month with introduction of the hospital and physiotherapy department.

The Head of the state noted that it is better to prevent the disease than to treat it, such modern diagnostic centers are important for the early detection of diseases and for making an accurate diagnosis.

Presentation of the concept developed by the Agency of Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President on modernization of the library and information center of Namangan region and enhancing reading culture was also held here. According to it, it is planned to organize libraries in 50 makhallas of the region, 12 modern mobile bookstores, to adjust the movement of 4 bibliobuses.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave instructions on facilitating the access of the population to books, publishing works of prominent scholars and writers from Namangan.

The President got acquainted with the apartment buildings under construction in Yuksalish makhalla of the city of Namangan, as well as with projects on development of this territory.
 

Another 14 houses will be built until the end of this year, the total number of apartments will reach 1,176. At the same time, necessary infrastructure will be created with improvement of the adjacent territory.
 

Shavkat Mirziyoyev noted that along with qualitative construction of houses it is necessary to increase the level of their service.

It is planned to organize a small industrial zone of 80 hectares near the makhallas, where it is planned to create over 7 thousand jobs.

Hyundai factory will also be built here in cooperation with South Korea. Due to this, the production potential of the territory will grow, the makhalla will turn into a high-tech town. Residents will get work in a small industrial zone.

The Head of the state got acquainted with plans for further improvement of the city of Namangan based on modern urban planning requirements, creating amenities for residents, as well as with the project of organizing an information technology park on A.Khujayev Street.

The President also got acquainted with construction of Afsonalar Vodiysi park (Valley of Legends) in the city center. This park, which promises to be one of a kind not only in Central Asia, but throughout the world, will turn into a business card of the region.

Thereupon, the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Namangan region has ended. The Head of the state has departed for Tashkent.
