On November 16, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Nukus garrison of the North-Western Military District where he got acquainted with conditions created for military personnel.

A major reconstruction was carried out on the territory of the garrison, including the barracks and educational buildings of the military unit, kindergarten, school, and houses in the military town. Football, tennis and volleyball courts were built.

Courses on computer literacy, the basics of entrepreneurship, foreign languages, mathematics and physics for military servicemen have been organized in the educational building.

Theoretical training in shooting, artillery, air defense, communications, and military tactics is carried out in another corps.

In addition, there is a library equipped with modern information resources with a rich book fund at the disposal of military personnel. Here they can meet with famous writers and poets via videoconferencing.

The President observed classes in various areas of military affairs, talked with youth.

We create all conditions for military personnel to be harmoniously developed both physically and intellectually. Therefore, you should spend time with benefits, read books, gain in-depth knowledge, carefully master information technologies and foreign languages, become an example for youth. After all, youth are our support and hope, the President said.
