On October 8-9, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron, paid an official visit to France.

Negotiations between the heads of states at the Elysee Palace were fruitful and comprehensive. Mutually beneficial long-term agreements were reached. 10 intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents were signed.

On October 9, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed from Paris for Tashkent.
