The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, accompanied by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the memorial complex of Islam Karimov in Samarkand. 

Flowers were laid at the grave of the First President of Uzbekistan. Surahs from the Quran were read.

Hundreds of our compatriots and foreign guests visit this complex daily. There are many Tajiks among them.

Tajikistan President’s respect for the memory of the First President of Uzbekistan became the embodiment of respect for people of the country. Emomali Rahmon had taken part in the burial ceremony of Islam Karimov.

The guest was informed about the creative work carried out in the complex.
