On June 29, a meeting with participation of khokims of Tashkent and districts of the capital and responsible leaders was held under the chairmanship of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.  

It was noted that as a result of measures taken on ensuring the independence of local budgets, more than 5 billion sums remains at the disposal of Olmazor district, which will serve to solve problems of the district, and implement new projects. 

The fact that the district is lagging behind development in many respects was criticized. In particular, it was stated that the volume of production of industrial products in the district is 2 times, the volume of rendering services is 3 times lower than the average in Tashkent. 

The need for effectively using the available opportunities, restoring non-functioning plants, creating sources of income for people through the development of entrepreneurship and services was noted. Instructions were given on creating 15 thousand jobs in the district.
