President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the concept of the program "Each Family - Entrepreneur" on the example of Andijan region.

The concept, developed at the initiative of the head of state, is aimed at creating sources of income by training unemployed people for entrepreneurship, handicrafts, farming and home-based work.

Uzbek President said that the population lives compactly in Andijan. “One or two plants will not be sufficient to provide a large number of people. Here people can be fed only through entrepreneurship, handicraft, poultry farming, fish farming,” he added.

“If we raise funds, provide the necessary equipment, teach them how to use it wisely, people will support themselves, they can arrange their own life, buy books for children, pay taxes, electricity, and increase revenues to the budget. A year later, the invested funds will return in double volume. So the economy should work,” the President said.

Uzbek President gave instructions to the responsible persons to determine the volume of products that entrepreneurs and artisans will deliver, the production of goods in demand, the development of poultry and fish farming.
