President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited Ichan-Kala complex.
Ichan-Kala has preserved unique architectural traditions of our people, this place is a reflection of the lifestyle, handicrafts, culture and art of our ancestors. The complex, known as the open-air museum is included into the UNESCO world heritage site.
The high guest was told about the history of this place, the work on the development of tourism in the complex.
The heads of state visited the mausoleum of Pahlavan Mahmud. Suras from the Koran were read.
The President of Turkmenistan expressed admiration for the creative genius of our ancestors, highly appreciated the ongoing work to preserve their heritage.
