Representatives of Turkmen nationality live in the village of Goybu, in Urgench district. All conditions have been created for them to learn in their native language, to develop their customs and traditions.

On the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a house of Uzbek-Turkmen friendship was built here. 

On the occasion of the visit of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the opening ceremony of this center of spirituality was held.

Presidents laid flowers at the bust of Makhtumkuli. 

Shavkat Mirziyayev and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the conditions created in Uzbek-Turkmen friendship house. Complex is built on the basis of traditional solutions and modern requirements of architecture. The Museum reflects the centuries-old ties between the Uzbek and Turkmen peoples. The library has a book Fund in which more than 2 thousand copies. There is a large hall for events, facilities for science and art.

Created conditions in Uzbek-Turkmen friendship house, for compatriots of Turkmen nationality made a great impression on the guests.
