Signed several bilateral document after the talks in Kuksaroy residence.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a Joint Statement.
About 17 documents were signed on the development of interregional cooperation, the opening of trading houses, the organization of the business council, transport, transit, agriculture, science and technology, trade unions, sports and others.
In addition, within the framework of the visit, 15 documents were signed between the higher educational institutions of the two countries, as well as on cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies.
At the meeting with representatives of the media, the Presidents noted that the talks were held in a traditionally open and sincere atmosphere, in a constructive spirit, and the parties are pleased with the agreements reached.
The 2017 became historic in Uzbek-Turkmen relations. Today all our agreements are fully realized. This meeting was also very fruitful.
We have thoroughly discussed our cooperation in detail. I want to emphasize that there are no unresolved issues, mutual understanding has been achieved in all areas. On this basis, we outlined the prospects for the further development of partnership between our countries. All that we do is for the sake of our peoples, for the sake of our children's future, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
