The ceremony of the official meeting of the President of Turkmenistan took place at Kuksaroy residence. 

The heads of state then held a tete-a-tete meeting.

The sides discussed the strengthening of strategic partnership, development of cooperation in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres. They also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Following the talks, it is planned to sign a Joint statement of the heads of state, a number of documents aimed at further development of bilateral relations in various spheres.

It is expected that the presidents will attend the opening of the Park "Ashgabat" in Tashkent. On April 24, the heads of state will visit Khorezm region.
