A park of culture and recreation will be created at the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the bank of Kichkirik channel in Almazar district, Tashkent. This was reported by the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 

Shavkat Mirziyoyev was provided with information on the project of this park. 

Children’s and sports grounds, modern attractions will be organized, libraries named after Abdullah Qadiri and Chulpan, the center of aksakals will be located here. 

The President noted the need for establishing cooperation of libraries with Tashkent schools, involvement of youth in the works of Abdullah Qadiri and Chulpan. 

Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave instructions on expanding amenities for the recreation of the population, organization of a teahouse and the Askiya center for aksakals (elders), construction of a nearby polyclinic. 

The President also got acquainted with the activity that is being carried out in Tashkent within the framework of the “Safe City” concept. 

The Head of the state noted the need for close dialogue with people, creating jobs, combating ignorance through enlightenment.
