President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev, who was in our country on a state visit at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, departed for Kyrgyzstan today. 

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has seen off the distinguished guest at “Tashkent” international airport named after Islam Karimov. 

As previously reported, the main events of the visit were held on October 5. 

Almazbek Atambayev, accompanied by Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited the Mustakillik square. Presidents got acquainted with the exhibition of industrial products of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, at Uzexpocentre. 

Issues of further development of trade-economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, further strengthening cooperation in transport and communications, energy, agriculture, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres were discussed at the meeting that was held in Kuksaroy residence, a number of documents were signed.\
