President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan within the framework of the summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on science and technology that is being held in Astana. 

During the meeting, issues of expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkey in trade, economic, investment, tourism and other spheres were considered. An exchange of views was held on issues of regional and international importance and of mutual interest.
